How can technology benefit the community?

With an increase in public interest in social enterprise and an understanding of how user-powered, sustainable, open source and other technologies can offer cost-effective solutions to productivity and closure of resource gaps, UCVP realizes the power of applying such technologies to community development.

Do you fund ventures?

Presently, we do not directly sponsor major funding. We do provide access to capital via our community and corporate partners and early stage funding will be made through our affiliate, MashCity Ventures.

What if I have an idea, only?

If you have an idea that you would like to be developed through UCVP, contact us to discuss potential inclusion in our portfolio of projects. You may also be able to partake in our development program, Next Economy Venture Leaders.

How do you choose projects to work on?

A combination of staff and community input leads to our selection of portfolio projects.
